Members of the Class of 1961 from St. Joseph Central High School held a class reunion on June 25, 2011 at the Virginia Beach home of Henry Kofron (1961 graduate) and Kathy Lyden Kofron (1962 graduate). Attendees included Leonard Aberle, Beverly Kleikamp Aberle, Joanne Cordova, Margie Heretick Palmer, Bernard Hrouda (and wife Betty), and Linda Ormand Pate (and husband George).
In 1961 a total of twenty students graduated from St. Joseph Central High School – ten girls and ten boys. Several have passed away or become infirm and unable to travel. Some settled in the Tri-Cities area, several live out of state, and one lives in a foreign country.
The graduates in 1961 in alphabetical order were: Leonard Aberle, Ernest Cerny, Gladys Colon, Joanne Cordova, Joseph Curtin, Madonna Day, Sandra Galiger, Berndan Gamble, Sandra Goozee, Jim Harris, Margie Heretick, Bernard Hrouda, James Johnson, Beverly Kleikamp, Henry Kofron, James Nolan, Linda Ormand, Theresa Rahilly, Lawence Roussell, and Mary Jane Webb.
