Associationparent
Collaboration
At Saint Joseph Catholic School, parents and families take an active role in the education of their child. We rely on parents providing their time, treasure, and talent to support a rich and vibrant school community.
The Home and School Association provides a forum for collaboration between parents, teachers, and administration.
The HSA takes the lead in organizing events such as school spirit nights at local restaurants, facilitating service opportunities for parents, supporting initiatives like teacher appreciation lunch, and ordering spirit wear and school merchandise.
service point
Program
The Home and School Association facilitates the parent Service Point program.
As a part of the parent agreement, families at Saint Joseph Catholic School commit to completing 25 service points over the course of the year. Service points can be earned by donating time (1 hour = 1 service point) or purchasing needed items ($10 = 1 service point).
Some examples include volunteering to help at the school Open House, purchasing supplies requested by a teacher, or organizing an after school activity for students.
we are...
Welcoming
A defining characteristic of Saint Joseph Catholic School is our vibrant and welcoming school community.
To help support this family-like atmosphere, the HSA organizes events throughout the year to help students and families connect outside of the classroom. These events also serve as fundraisers for the HSA.
Some events include school spirit nights at Chic Fil A, Chipotle, and Skate Land, Grandparents Day, Trunk or Treat, Race for Education, and more.
